We are having a compressed spring here in the Carolinas, with a cold February and everything coming up at once. The daffodils are essentially going nuts. Betsy took these pictures.

On a vaguely related note, this mushroomy thing popped up beneath the rabbit hutch. It was so weird I had to take an early morning picture.
Betsy: Extreme knitter. Retired metallurgical engineer. Master of gardening and landscape design.
Bob: Another retired metallurgist. Occasional bassist in various jazz, acoustic, and blues bands. Rides bicycles of all sorts, takes pictures of things. Likes caveman carpentry.
Paul: Delivers comestibles so that we all can be properly fed. Hangs out in funky Madison, WI. Likes old school hip-hop, playing tuba in brass bands, and wind instrument barter and repair.
Nathaniel: Occupational Therapist in Asheville, NC. New homeowner. Is married to the fabulous Lindsey.
Hoover and Dyson, the Pellet Brothers: The new rabbits. Flemish Giant brothers. Craigslist finds, so pedigree is questionable. Fun loving, somewhat crazy. They have that brotherly love/hate thing going, big time.
